CybExer has been named a Sample Vendor in the Cyber Range category of the Gartner® Hype Cycle™ for Security Operations, 2026.
The annual report tracks the maturity and adoption of technologies shaping security operations. Cyber ranges are featured in the report alongside categories such as adversarial exposure validation, red teaming as a service and penetration-testing-as-a-service, reflecting a shift the report describes away from point-in-time assurance and toward continuous, exercise-based validation of an organization's people, processes and technology.
CybExer's cyber range platform is used by financial institutions, government agencies, defense forces, critical infrastructure operators and academic institutions to run live-fire exercises and technical and executive-level cyber drills that measure real-world readiness against cyberattacks, and to build digital twin testing environments that replicate their production systems. Since 2016, the company's technology has powered some of the world's largest national and multinational cyber exercises.
The recognition follows a period of expansion for CybExer, including its role in the European Defence Fund's €60 million CITADEL cyber range project and its work powering national cyber drills for government and financial-sector clients around the world.
