CybExer Technologies, in collaboration with e-Governance Academy, is helping Ukrainian Armed Forces by setting up a cyber lab for their cyber defense units.
The project is being executed within the framework of EU support to Ukraine through the European Peace Facility.
The European Union supports the resilience of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and assists them with the European Peace Facility (EPF) since the beginning of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.
Generally, this support includes provision training, equipment, capacity building activities for military actors, and a proper infrastructure for security purposes.
Executive Director of e-Governance Academy, Hannes Astok, believes that this initiative will help Ukrainian army become stronger and more cyber resilient:
“Throughout the past eight months, our team and partners have worked to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine with building cybersecurity skills and setting up a cyber lab. It will translate to enhanced digital skills of military professionals and contribute to building the cyber resilience of Ukraine.”
Chief Operating Officer of CybExer Technologies, Aare Reintam, also expressed his opinions about this collaboration:
„I truly believe that we were able to provide to the Ukraine Armed Forces the best cyber range there is. Our cyber range technology has received the NATO Innovation Award and that has proven itself in many national and international cyber training over the years. We are happy that it will be used for a good cause.”
With this initiative, the European Union is showing its support for Ukraine to defend itself within the country’s internationally recognized borders, and protect civilian populations against the aggression.
Our team at CybExer Technologies is happy to participate in such initiatives and share our expertise with other organizations globally.
