Active AI Defence Solution

Project start and end: November 2025 – April 2027

Carried out under the Applied Research Programme of the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency. As part of this initiative, CybExer Technologies develops an Active AI Defence Solution designed to enhance national cyber resilience. The project focuses on creating advanced simulation capabilities that enable the modelling of offensive cyber operations in a secure and controlled environment. Supported by the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency, this initiative strengthens the ability to anticipate, detect, and respond to modern cyber threats through dynamic, AI-driven training and preparedness.

CITADEL

Project start and end: 01.11.2025 – 01.05.2029

Carried out for the European Defence Fund. As a key contributor to the CITADEL project, Cybexer is responsible for leading the development and integration of the AI track. This involves designing advanced AI-driven scenarios and tools that enhance the realism and adaptability of cyber defence training environments. By embedding intelligent threat simulation and automated analysis capabilities into the CITADEL Range, Cybexer ensures that European cyber forces are better equipped to anticipate, detect, and counter evolving cyber threats across the full spectrum of operations.

SPACE CYBER RANGE Phase 2

Project no: 4000147231/25/NL/GM

Project start and end: 02.2025 – 04.2027

Carried out for the European Space Agency. The proposed activity focuses on developing and marketing the Space Cyber Range, a virtual platform for testing, validation, and certification of space assets and processes. It also serves as a hub for cybersecurity training, exercises, and industry knowledge sharing. By enhancing the security and reliability of space technologies, SCR aims to strengthen industry collaboration while promoting education and skill development within the space ecosystem.

Pilot Program for Enhancing Cybersecurity Skills Gaps in Ukraine

Project no: 4-1/93-2025-1

Project start and end: 01.05.2025 - 28.02.2026

The project is supported by ESDTEV - Estonian Centre for International Development Cooperation.

The objective of this project is to support the development of the next generation of cybersecurity professionals in Ukraine. To achieve this, a practical SOC Analyst course (4 ECTS) will be created and integrated into the bachelor's degree programs at Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, Khmelnytskyi State University, and Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture.

To support the course, comprehensive learning materials will be developed and piloted during a dedicated Bootcamp. The knowledge and skills acquired during the Bootcamp will be further applied in two Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, providing students with practical, hands-on experience.

Space Cyber Range Concept Study

Project no: 4000142115 /23/UK/AL/gm

Project start and end: 10.2023 – 07.2024

Carried out for the European Space Agency. The concept study aimed to assess the feasibility and strategic direction of the Space Cyber Range by conducting a comprehensive market analysis, focusing on potential customers, particularly in the commercial space industry and New Space startups. It included a competition analysis to identify key software players in space cybersecurity, along with a user needs assessment to bridge knowledge gaps between the space and cybersecurity sectors. Additionally, the study examined user requirements across various technical domains, evaluated service models and unique market offerings, and developed business cases. It also defined the operational model, architecture, service value chain, and a structured development plan for the Space Cyber Range.

NEWSROOM

Project no: 10112140

Project start and end: 01.12.2023 – 30.11.2026

Carried out for the European Defence Fund. We aim to advance cyber situational awareness for complex and evolving computing environments, with a focus on leveraging digital twins for real-time threat monitoring and response. As part of the NEWSROOM project, we contribute our expertise in cyber ranges to develop and validate CSA solutions through realistic scenarios. The project also integrates collaborative intrusion detection and cyber threat intelligence in line with military-grade security standards, ensuring robust, scalable, and operationally relevant cyber defence capabilities.

Applied research on cyber security of smart city mobility solutions based on cyber range technology

Project no: RE.5.04.22-0088

Project start and end: 01.11.2022 – 31.10.2024

The aim of the project is to research the resilience of smart city mobility solutions using cyber range technology in order to protect cities and civilian infrastructure against cyber disruptions. We will research the cybersecurity interdependencies of smart city mobility solutions and bring geospatial information to cyber ranges for a better understanding and management of smart cities.

Cybersecurity testing on cyber range based on digital functional clone of a satellite

Projekti algus ja lõpp: 01.01.2022 – 30.06.2023

Projekti eesmärk ja tulemused:

Projekti eesmärk on lihtsustada tehnoloogiate küberturvalisuse testimist. Selleks loome teadmise küberharjutusväljakule kübertestimiseks vajalike digitaalsete funktsionaalsete kloonide loomisest. Teeme seda satelliidi ESTCube-2 ja selle juhtimis- ning kommunikatsioonisüsteemide näitel. Oluline on jõuda kasutajasõbraliku ning kuluefektiivse lahenduseni, mis pakuks automatiseeritud ning kergesti juhitavat küberturvalisuse testimist. See muudab küberturvalisuse testimise kättesaadavamaks. Rakendusuuring keskendub kosmosetehnoloogiale, kuid väljatöötatav metoodika on rakendatav ka teistes sektorites. CybExer Technologiese eesmärk on antud rakendusuuringu läbiviimisel arendada edasi oma alustehnoloogiat ning jõuda seeläbi uue teenuse ning uue sektorini(kosmosetehnoloogiad).

DeLRAP v2

Projekt nr: 2014-2020.15.03.21-0216

Projekti algus ja lõpp: 01.01.2022 – 31.12.2022

Projekti eesmärk ja tulemused:

E-õppe platvorm on tööriist ettevõttetele, mis võimaldab läbi viia koolitusi töötajatele e-õppe vormis. Siiani on fookus olnud küberturvalisuse, korruptsioonivastase teadlikkuse ja andmekaitse (GDPR) teemadel. Oleme saavutanud ülemaailmselt tuntuse, et meie vastu tunnevad tõsist huvi suured teenusepakkujad. Antud projekti raames arendatakse välja võimekus, mis avab E-õppe platvormi potentsiaali täiesti uuele sihtgrupile laiendades ulatuslikult ka edasimüügikanaleid kelleks on pilveteenuse pakkujad. Rahastatakse liidu COVID-19 pandeemiale reageerimise raames.

Skills Testing Platform (STP)

Eesmärgid ja oodatavad tulemused: Välja arendada esimene täielik versioon Skills Testing Platformist (1.0 versioon) koos oluliste funktsioonide arendusega. Tulemuseks on projekti lõpuks valmis toode, mida on võimalik projekti lõppedes järgnevatel kuudel viia online shop formaati, kus on võimalik otse osta ligipääsu STP teenusele.

E-õppe platform – I etapp

Eesmärgid ja oodatavad tulemused: Projekti eesmärk oleks arendada E-õppe platformi editor ja tagasiside analüütika beta versioonid. Editor võimaldaks e-õppe sisu loomise, muutmise ja täiendamise tegevused anda kliendile, mis oluliselt suurendab skaleeritavust ja lihtsustab globaalselt platformi rakendamise protsessi. Teiseks on eesmärk on välja arendada tagasisideanalüütika tööriist, mis loogika alusel grupeerib, süstematiseerib ja osaliselt valmistab ette tagasisidet (vastavalt rollile, teemale, märksõnadele jne.) ning esitab võimalikult vähese ajakuluga raporti.
