CybExer Technologies cyber range provides platform for two educational CTFs with more than 500 participants

CybExer Technologies cyber range will provide platform for two youth CTF (Capture the Flag) competitions to introduce cyber security as a career opportunity for more than 500 young hacking enthusiasts.

CybExer cyber range will host CTF competition Cyberspike 2021 organised by Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) and Estonian Ministry of Defence. The 14-24 years old computer enthusiasts will test their knowledge and compete against each other on August 18th.

CybExer cyber range will also be the backbone of Cyber ​​Battle of Estonia 2021 – an all-Estonian CTF competition that will have boot camps (trainings) and preliminary rounds in five Estonian towns in July and August organised by CTF Tech.
The final competition for 15-21 years old hackers will take place on October 30th on the grounds of University of Tartu and broadcasted by Telia Inspira channel.

In addition to providing cyber range CybExer will provide the scenarios and tasks for both competitions making CybExer Technologies the main technology provider for those educational CTFs.

Cyber Battle of Estonia 2021 is supported and co-partnered by City of Tartu, City of Tallinn, City of Pärnu, City of Paide, Utilitas, University of Tartu Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu Youth Academy, Telia Estonia, SK ID Solutions, Admirals, Samsung, Cisco, Auvetech, Coca-Cola, Estonian Aviation Academy, Thinnect, Nordic Council of Ministers in Estonia and Laptopid.ee.

Educational CTFs provide young people with playful introduction to the world of cybersecurity and a help build bridges between young enthusiasts and cybersecurity sector.
